Application button Becoming a Master Gardener

leaf If you love learning about gardening and would like to share your knowledge with others, the Sonoma County Master Gardeners offer you the opportunity to use your knowledge to serve our community. Prospective Master Gardeners are given a training course that covers all aspects of home gardening. These classes are offered once a year.

Applications are accepted during the summer for the next year's class, which begins in January and runs through mid April.

Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 12 to 5 P.M.

Applicants should have some gardening experience and be able to volunteer their time on Master Gardener activities. For more information, or to obtain an application, contact the Master Gardeners at (707) 565-2608, select the link "Application for Membership" or e-mail:MGsonoma@ucdavis.edu

leafApplications for the Master Gardeners 2007 class will be available starting in July 2006.
