BML is an Organized Research Unit of the University of California at Davis. It is located about 60 miles north of San Francisco near the small Sonoma County town of Bodega Bay, CA. The marine laboratory is situated on the Bodega Marine Reserve, which is a unit of the UC Natural Reserve System. (AquaNIC) is a gateway to the world's electronic resources for aquaculture. AquaNIC is maintained at Purdue University in the Department of Animal Sciences.
