Afterschool Program Resources

4-H Youth Development works in partnership with agencies and schools to provide the experential learning component of many afterschool programs. Experiential learning means that learning in our afterschool activities should be experience centered, engaging youth with the subject matter in an active, "hands-on" way, rather than by mearly giving information. The activities, therefore, include a series of purposeful, "real-life" learning experiences. Provided below is a series of handouts, activities, parent surveys, manuals, and curricula concerning a variety of topics and available for download.
